In this context, training in gender equality is an essential step to strengthen the capabilities of technical and political personnel involved in international cooperation. The online course “I know about gender: an introduction to gender equality in the Ibero-American System and the CPLP” provides an introduction to fundamental concepts, the international and regional human rights framework, and practical strategies for mainstreaming the gender perspective in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of programs and public policies. This training was designed in a dynamic and interactive way, and includes updated tools and examples from both the Ibero-American context and Portuguese-speaking cooperation, promoting an intersectional approach that is sensitive to the diverse sociocultural realities of our countries.
